With an estimated population of 18,000, the town has been rapidly expanding as its population has doubled since 2010! Nestled between the major arteries of Preston Road to the east and the future Dallas North Tollway to the west, Celina’s total projected buildout population is approximately 350,000. It is projected to be a major town in North Texas.

The climate in Celina is classified as humid sub-tropic. With a high of 94 degrees in July and a low of 31 degrees in January, the area is relatively warm on average. It receives about 41 inches of rainfall a year and about one inch of snow. Precipitation occurs 75 days out of the year and the area has 232 sunny days a year.
