Your Connection to the Sherman Community

I've been selling real estate in Sherman for 19 years, and I still love it as much as I did on day one. My husband and I moved here for his job 20 years ago, and while I grew up moving around a lot Southern Oklahoma is the closest thing I have to a hometown before Sherman - this is the place that stuck.

Here's the real story: I got into real estate because I got fired. I was pregnant at the time, and I was told flat out they couldn't afford me. I had a background in advertising and PR and had always been in sales, so I decided to bet on myself. I chased the freedom real estate could give me if I worked hard enough for it and I did. My daughter just graduated, and in 19 years I never missed a school function or a sports game. That's what building this the hard way bought me.

Seven years ago, my husband left his own marketing career to join me full time as my Director of Marketing. He handles all our advertising now, which means when you work with me, you're working with a team that's fully in this together.

What I actually do for you

I don't just show you houses. During a showing, I'm listening to what you're saying and what you're not saying and I'm telling you honestly whether a property fits the life you're trying to build, not just the price point you gave me.

I'm not just talking about the house. I'm telling you what's happening on that street, what's coming to that part of town, and whether it's a smart investment or a pretty trap.

After almost two decades here, I know this community better than almost anyone. That means when we're looking at a house, we're looking at the whole picture around it.

Who I work best with

My core clients are usually between 35 and 50 people relocating to Sherman from somewhere else, or people already here who are ready to move up into new construction or a resale upgrade. But I also work with people at every stage: first-time buyers, downsizers, sellers, investors. If you live in or around Sherman and you're buying or selling, I can help.

Who I'm not the right fit for

I'm matter-of-fact. Whether we're talking about a house you love or the number I think you should list at, I'm going to shoot you straight, even when it's not what you want to hear. If you want an agent who tells you what you want to hear instead of what's true, I'm probably not your best fit. If you want someone who'll give it to you straight because they actually want you to win, that's me.

A little about me outside of work

I love being outside hiking, pickleball, anything that gets me out of the office. My family's happiest doing two things: traveling and being together. National parks and theme parks are permanent fixtures on our list. And Sherman is the place we keep coming back to.
